free transunion credit report disputes
How to I order an “individual” credit report from each bureau, not the 3-in-1.. Need to dispute but can’t..

Hello, I ordered a “3-in-1″ credit report from transunion.. well it ends up I cannot dispute claims through equifax and experian unless I have an official credit report # from them.. which transunion does not give you when you order the “3-in-1″ report. So now I have to order a “3-in-1″ report from each company just to open a dispute, that would be $90 total! Isn’t there a way to just order an individual report from each company for $9.95.. i thought there was? I’ve already used up my “free” report from annualcreditreport.com. Is this some kind of big scam to get more money? Need help, Thanks!

You DO NOT have to order a 3-1 report from each agency. You may not even have to order any more reports.

Verify that the report number is not included on the 3-1 in some section. Since they pulled your report from Equifax and Experian they were given a report number, and should be listing it. If it is not on there you should still be able to dispute the information. But you have to do it through certified mail.

When you send them the dispute, just include the date of the report, the account in dispute, and the dispute reason. At this same time you can attach copies of any documents you need to prove your dispute.

However, if you want to purchase just a single report here are the links
