I was 30+ days late on my credit report by accident. How do I get it reversed or disputed?
I used my Macy’s card to get 10% off on a necklace… I ended up paying like three times that because I moved and my mail was going to my old address so I never got the bill. It’s not like I couldn’t pay it. It was only $11 ended up being like $35. And now it shows on my credit report a negative mark. How can I get that reversed?
First question: Did you miss the payment?
In other words, is the 30-day-late mark on your credit accurate?
If it’s accurate (regardless of who’s fault it was), it can’t be reversed.
