is it legal for a video store owner to come to your house and demand his videos back?
i thought it was incredibly odd and irritating that the owner of our local video store went looking for us at my in laws and our house demanding we return 2 dvds that were about 7 days late (they have a 1 day policy). i understand it was our fault to have late dvds out but isnt it a little extreme to come to there house and harass them. he was incredibly rude and said he had reported us to the credit company. when we told him we wanted to cancel the membership he looked shocked and said no you still rent just pay me $38. Pretty sure it must be against some law
btw he had came 3 days in a row, and the first 2 we weren’t home
I am pretty sure it is against the law to steal DVDs. You have some pretty peculiar ideas. Maybe you should start looking at yourself through the same lens you look at other people through.
