The other day I went on to Freecreditreport.com and signed up and all but, I’m an NY resident and it said something about that. Does anyone know if I’m going to get charged?
it said exactly this under the privacy policy notice:
“Due to New York state law restrictions, the Triple Advantage Guarantee cannot be offered to residents of New York.”
So does this mean I won’t get charged because I’m an NY resident?

No, it doesn’t mean you won’t get charged. The Triple Advantage Guarantee or Card Safe program is a $50,000 guarantee that you’re not liable for any unauthorized charges if your card is lost or stolen.
This program does not apply to New York residents.
