obtain credit report deceased
i need a 15,000 loan to buy sisters share of mothers deceased home.credit judgement on me 4 years ago prevents

credit card went bad 10years ago.last week tried to obtain a mortage loan. never knew about never received any documents of judgement. was informed by lender. can dept collector still sue me freeze bank accounts etc. how do i clear this from any reports so loan is possible. my credit report shows nothing of a judgement on me . this is info. the bank lender only has and that i never knew existed.

Mortgage lenders do judgment searches in many cases. See if the lender who came up with the information can tell you which state and county the judgment came from. Contact the courthouse in that county for more details. Depending on the amount involved and how much you want the house, you may consider it worth attorney’s fees. Make sure you get agreement from attorney to cap fees.

Try a local credit union as $15000 is too small an amount for most mortgage lenders.
