If I dispute something on my credit report , how can I do it?
Is it better to write a letter and mail it to the credit beauru ? Or is it better to use the generic form they have online? Thanks 
I would recommend by mail. This way you can send any copies of the proof of your dispute at the same time. When you do send it make sure you send it by Certified Mail.
If you do send it On-Line they will still respond to you through the mail as to the result. So if additional information is needed you will have to send it by mail any ways.
