scammed by website paid with credit card cani get money back?
i went online to buy ghd’s and found a website ghd outlet, i bought 2 pairs at a total of £107 (too good to be true i know that now). i paid with my credit card.
although i have been emailing ‘vicky’ from the ‘company’ i am now getting automated replies and the website seems to no longer exsist though i suspect it now http://www.ghdivstyler-outlet.com/ as it is the same just a different web address – it was www.ghdoutlet-uk or something like that
can iget my money back through my bank (RBS)?
should i report this to the police?
tell the credit card company. Even if its a debit card, you will still get your money back. If they dont have this protection, nobody would use their credit card/debit cards.
