O2 credit check & equifax?
I have an O2 contract mobile phone and passed the credit check on that (obviously)… But. I recently ordered a iphone 3g off of O2 telesales for a present to a relative (on the phone) and they said I failed the credit check. I was a bit baffled at how I failed it. I checked my credit rating and report from the equifax website and everything was the same as it was when i passed my original credit check. I wanted to know why was i being refused when i was accepted 8 months ago with the same credit status???

Ask the merchant which credit bureau they used and why your credit was rejected. You can then get a free copy of your credit report from that credit bureau.
It’s possible there’s something on your credit report with the bureau they used or it could be your credit isn’t sufficient based on the current standards.
