Internet Scam Site… How to report it? How to get my money back?
Where can I report this?
I payed for the item via paypal with a credit card.
Is there a way I can get my money back?
I have proof that I submitted an order through their website and that they received the payment. I was sent an automated e-mail explaining that the item I was trying to purchase was “Out of Stock.” It continued to say that I could request a refund or a replacement product. I have e-mailed them three times already, with no response except an automated one telling me that the “message was received” and that I should get a response in “24-48 hours”. It has been long past that and I fear that I have been scammed.
If it was done through Paypal, then you can file a complaint with them. I had a similar situation a couple of years ago with an eBay seller, but I was able to get in contact with the seller before filing a complaint and he gave me a full refund.
