Im a UK citizen. I want to incorporate a nonprofit in the US?
I want to incorporate under 501c3 category and then open an American bank account for fundraising. Am I able to apply for federal grants for nonprofits, considering the incorporated nonprofit is American? Or, would it render me ineligible due to my citizenship?
Also when I open a bank account, will they check my personal credit or the nonprofits? I have a personal credit report in the US, since I used to live there and I also have a SSN. Thanks

You need a USA lawyer
You cannot open an account but your nonprofit can once the IRS issues you an EIN number
No you cannot apply for Grants unless all donations are used in the USA to benefit USA citizens
