Will a 300 dollar collection look really bad on my credit if all my other bills are paid every month?
Alright, I have 8 lines of credit totaling around 50 thousand dollars which I pay every month, some carry a balance from month to month if I made a very large purchase, but they usually have zero balances, or very low balances. Never been late.
I have 2 lawyers who were working on a case together for me. I paid the bill in full, however, one of the lawyers died and now the one who is still alive says I owe him money. This 300 dollars was never part of any agreement, I don’t owe any of this money.
Well they were going to try and go after my bank accounts so I instantly pulled all the money from my accounts, and I don’t technically work so they can’t garnish my wages.
So they are sending me collection notices. I don’t care that it’s only 300 dollars, I know I don’t owe him anything at all.
