Can they put this on my credit report?
I have an advertising debt that is with a collection agency – they keep sending me things saying they are going to do an asset search etc. They ran an ad for my business a couple years ago and then I went away on vacation and they ran the ad again without speaking to me first so i refuse to pay for them re running the ad because I only authorized it for one week but it is my word against theirs.
Anyhow, they do not have my social security number. Can they still put this on my credit report?
Pull your credit and find out. Most of the time if you go to collections, its already on your credit.
