Can I cancel a Payment arrangement to get a debt validated?
I made arrangements to pay a debt on my credit report that I’m pretty sure is incorrect. I was just doing some research and discovered ‘debt validation’ letters. Can I call them and say that I want to cancel my Payment Arrangement until my debt is validated? If so, how do I approach them with this request? Also, what’s a good sample letter for me to use?

Maybe thye don’t have you recorded. Dispute the amount and send a DV anyway..because a DV is also for the exact amount ..they have to prove it!
If that doesnt work..send them a PFD (PAY FOR DELETE) Remember tell them you need it in writing!
They have to delete their entry off of your report in exchange for the money. If they dont agree to delete it DO NOT BOTHER PAYING!
The damage has already been done. Dont think your Fico credit score will increase because you paid an old collection. The only way it would increase is if you have it deleted!
