Tenant Credit Report For Landlords
2010

If you have already disputed a fraudulent entry on your credit report and been denied, what can you do?
I am the victim of a landlord-tenant scam in which the owner of the building would sign a year long lease with a tenant, then harass the tenant out of the apartment within a month, then attempt to hold the tenant liable for the rest of the rent due for the year long lease. ($13,000)
I’ve already disputed the charges with Experian, and even showed my written permission to terminate the lease. However, the landlord of course claimed this permission was forged.
Experian refused to remove the charge…..What can I do now?
This is ruining my life and credit!
Thanks!
Sue the landlord for fraud and ask for a Court Order that the item be expunged from your credit report.
