three credit reporting agencies experian
How do I correct my credit report when Experian has not corrected my credit report after two requests?

I had a bankruptcy in November 2003. This is reported correctly on all three agency reports. When I found one of my credit accounts incorrectly showing a chargeoff in February 2004 I wrote to Experian and asked that they fix it since a bankruptcy trumps a chargeoff. Instead of fixing the chargeoff they began reporting the credit account as a Bankruptcy in 2007. HELP! This is affecting my credit score and I’m buying a house in April. Is there any way to get this fixed quickly?

Learn the laws and once they know that you know them, they’re more inclined to get off their rears and fix things. The following is an article on the legal rights you have when an error shows on your credit report: http://www.creditave.com/credit-report/credit-score-error.html
