Three Credit Reporting Agencies Transunion

Sep 25

which credit reporting agency do most banks and or credit unions look at out of the three?

Equifax, transunion, or experian. Equifax seems quite harsh.

Equifax seems harsh because they use FICO with a scale of 300 to 850. The TransUnion and Experian sites use Vantage scores with a scale of 500 to 990. Not so harsh anymore. By the way, creditors use FICO. So the money you paid for those Vantage scores was a waste.

Most large financial institutions use all three credit bureaus.
