Do I need to provide all three credit scores?

My husband and I are trying to rent a home and the landlord asked me to mail a credit score along with the rental application. I went to freecreditscore.com and signed up for the trial membership so I could get the score. After I had obtained the score, I noticed that the score was only from one of the credit bureaus and that I had to pay to see the credit scores from Equifax and TransUnion. Is it necessary that I pay the money to provide a credit score from all three credit bureaus, or will the free credit score from experian suffice? and what would cause the three bureaus to report different scores?
I deleted my membership the second I printed off my credit score

To answer your main question, no it should not be necessary to provide all three scores from each credit bureaus, unless the landlord asks for all three. Looks like one should be enough. Fyi, you should know that for each bureau your credit score will be different but not by much. Hope this helps out. I might add that “Books” gave you good info on how to get your free “credit report”, although that won’t give you your actual “credit score”.
