Does the personal info on your credit report effect your chance of a auto loan?
The personal info like at the top of the credit report itself, there is your name, address, place of residence, and where you work. I checked mine and all 3 credit bureau’s have different info. One has my first job I ever had as my job I work at now but I havent worked there over 5 years, and they have my home info as living with my mom but I have never lived where she moved to, and anther is showing I live with my wifes family.
Is this something I need to change since I am going to be trying to get a new car loan? Also does that incorrect info affect my credit scoring?
Regardless of whether it materially affects your auto loan, you should correct the information. Go to the same web site where you saw the credit reports and file updates.
