Could Someone Please Explain My Credit Report To Me?

There are two dates on each of my previous accounts, one is “date reported”, and “date updated”. This is a transunion credit report. Is the “date reported” the same as date of last activity? And does “date updated” mean the last time this credit report agency updated my records?

Also, I’m not seeing anything about judgements, where would I find that if there has been a judgment against me?
Okay, so if I was looking for statute of limitations, would that be the date reported or the date updated?

Now for the rest of the answer.

Any judgments, collections, bankruptcy’s, tax liens or law suits would be in the public records section towards the top of your report.
