Transunion Credit Report Disputing

Credit Report Dispute?
I disputed several accounts on my credit report with all three credit bureaus. With Equifax, they deleted everything I disputed. For Experian & Transunion, it came back verified. Can I use the fact that Equifax deleted these items as proof they should be deleted?
Also, if an account is reported “disputed” on the report, does that affect credit score? Is it viewed negatively?
Disputing items doesn’t affect your credit score.
If the accounts you are disputed are legitimate, the ones Equifax deleted may just come back when the creditor next updates.
If these are really not your accounts, you should send a certified, return receipt letter to the creditor requesting validation of the debt to include copies of contracts and other documentation that proves this is your debt. Give them 30 days.
If the creditor fails to respond, send another dispute to the credit bureaus with a copy of your validation request, indicating that the creditor failed to validate. The item should be removed.
If the creditor does respond, you should have all the documentation you need to fight it out with the creditor.
