Freed credit report for rejected application.?
Recently my credit card application got rejected. The letter from the bank states that, i am eligible to get a free credit report within next 60 days. When i called the credit reporting agency (transunion), it goes to an automated number and requires me to provide ssn and address details to get a report. I was expecting to talk to someone and tell them that i am requesting for a free report that i am eligible for. How do i ensure that, the automated system would provide free report and not charge me for that?
